Phil’s crew did a complete HVAC replacement including ducts, vents, thermostat, AC compressor and condenser, heater and added a whole house media filter. I had estimates from 3 different companies and The Woodlands AC / Heating was not only the lowest but also described in detail every step to be taken to insure an effecient system. The crew was prompt, courteous and professional. They know what they’re doing and they do it well. I highly recommend this company and would definitely use them again in the future, assuming I buy another residence because this system will be good for some time.
I’m real happy with this company’s work.
Excellent job at a reasonable price. I explained to Phil what I needed and he recommended the system to match it.
Showed up on time and put a protective cover over the carpet where they walked. Removed the old unit and installed the new one. Put a mastic coating over the air duct joints which seals them from leaking. Also put in the proper drain connection for the pan under the A/C air handler. The last two contractors didn’t connect this joint properly. Installed air valves in each duct to adjust the air flow and then checked each outlet to ensure an even air distribution throughout the house. The new A/C is much quieter and will hopefully lower our electric bill. I’m real happy with this company’s work.

2012 Angie’s List Super Service Award
We Earn the Highest Award from Angie’s List two years in a row!
The Woodlands Heating and Air Conditioning Earns Esteemed 2012 Angie’s List Super Service Award.
Award reflects businesses’ consistently high level of customer service in the field of Heating & Air Conditioning Contractors.
The Woodlands Heating and Air Conditioning has earned the service industry-coveted 2012 Angie’s List Super Service Award, an honor awarded annually to approximately 5 percent of all the companies rated on Angie’s List, the nation’s leading provider of consumer reviews on local service companies.
“We’ve been doing HVAC work in The Woodlands for a long time now and one approach always seems to do us well: making sure the customer is happy with our service,” explains Phil Musial, Operations Manager of The Woodlands Heating and Air Conditioning. “We start by listening to our client’s needs. If we don’t know what they want, then how can we truly start to help? When we offer a solution, we make sure to clearly outline procedures and costs, and make sure to highlight additional options if they are available. Once work is done, we make sure the homeowner is statisfied and knows how to operate and take care of any new installation. Of course, we’re always there in case they need help.”
Angie’s List Super Service Award 2012 winners have met strict eligibility requirements, including earning a minimum number of reports, an excellent rating from their customers and abiding by Angie’s List operational guidelines.
Service company ratings are updated daily on Angie’s List. Companies are graded on an A through F scale in areas ranging from price to professionalism to punctuality. Members can find the 2012 Super Service Award logo next to company names in search results on AngiesList.com.
We like the Nest
We have installed quite a few Nest Learning Thermostats and we can say it’s definitely cool. It looks great, learns your routine, and saves money. We recommend these thermostats for folks who want simple, effective control. If you are a person who likes a lot of detail and freedom to program, then an Infinity Control is probably more your style.
Below is a quote and video from the makers of the Nest. (nest.com)
Turn it up, turn it down. The Nest Learning Thermostat remembers what temperatures you like, creates a custom schedule for your home, and turns itself down when you’re away. Control it from anywhere with your phone, tablet or laptop.
