Update on our Let’s Help a Neighbor Food Pantry Fund Drive
Our 2012 Summer Fund Drive was a great success! Thanks everyone!
Each year, families go hungry in The Woodlands. Interfaith of The Woodlands Food Pantry is available to individuals and families who need assistance. You can still help by giving a donation. In any small amount you give, you’ll help a neighbor in The Woodlands.
You can still donate!
Any amount is accepted and very much appreciated! It is completely tax deductible and goes to Interfaith’s PayPal account. You also may send a check or cash by contacting Interfaith.
June 29th End-of-Fund Drive Extravaganza Raffle!
Anyone who donated was automatically entered for an iPad raffle. Our fund drive ended on June 29th with the iPad raffle. This photo shows the Interfaith’s staff conducting the drawing in their food pantry.
We raffled three $100 gift certificates to Hubbell & Hudson!
Make a donation and tell us you did on our Facebook page and you’ll enter a raffle for a $100 gift card to Hubbell & Hudson. We’ll have two more raffles before June 29th. Learn more on our raffle page.
Interfaith of The Woodlands is a non-profit social service agency providing numerous programs and services to meet the needs of The Woodlands and the surrounding area. What began as a dream of Mr. George P. Mitchell, founder and original developer of The Woodlands, flourished into a reality and is helping thousands of individuals and families each year.
Today, Interfaith’s mission continues to be based on Mr. Mitchell’s vision and Interfaith’s ongoing commitment to making a difference and being a multi-faceted community resource. Initially, Interfaith acts as an “incubator” for community social services and as a “support” for new congregations. Interfaith helps individuals and families in crisis through financial assistance for rent, mortgage, utilities, gasoline, prescription drug assistance, emergency shelter, food, clothing, senior programs and offers counseling, job training, and child care.
True to its mission, Interfaith works with member congregations, corporations, local businesses, individuals, nonprofits and organizations acting as a community resource and building a more loving and caring community.
