As a professional, I expect professionalism from the companies that I hire to perform work on our home. And that is just what I received from The Woodlands Heating and Air Conditioning (TWHAC) in July 2018. I did extensive research and due diligence on the major local HVAC companies for the replacement of my 20-year old AC/heating system, and solicited quotes from three vendors. I ultimately selected The Woodlands Heating and Air Conditioning based on their available equipment (Trane XV18 variable unit installed), no sub-contractors policy, and pricing. Brian Jones (Comfort Specialist) did an outstanding job discussing the pro’s and con’s of TWHAC’s equipment options, accommodating the ductwork modifications that I requested, responding to my questions and other questions prompted by discussions with the other vendors, and coordinating with the installation crew on the day of the install. Omar Negrete (Installation Manager) and his crew had the system replaced by mid-day, the construction zone squared away, and Omar reviewed with me both the outdoor unit and the new equipment in the attic, focusing on future maintenance needs (media filters & biocide/bleach port).
TWHAC was the only vendor that brought up the large Entergy rebate I was due; I learned that the installation company has to jump through a variety of documentation hoops to make that happen, and other vendors are reluctant to perform that service. Warranty confirmation was received by email from the TWHAC office the morning after the installation, and the new system is considerably quieter both outside and inside. All in all, an excellent experience with The Woodlands Heating and Air Conditioning.
