Are you looking for ways to beat the summer heat? We know we’ve been looking forward to all the fun summer activities that The Woodlands has to offer. If you’re going to beat the heat, it’s important to be prepared! We’ve compiled a list of some of our favorite indoor activities in the area to help you plan ahead.

The Woodlands Children’s Museum

From visits with the characters from Cars to Fairy Day, the Woodlands Children’s Museum has a summer schedule jam-packed with activities sure to excite and entertain your kids. The museum has workshops all summer long for kids ages 4-10, and the schedule boasts classes that will allow children to discover and learn a wide range of skills. Their mission is to create opportunities that Educate, Empower and Excite children and families through play while inspiring a lifelong sense of wonder and discovery.

Play Street Museum

Play Street Museum in the Woodlands is a great indoor play area designed to look like a town square. The space was built for kids up to 8 years of age and has areas such as a doctor’s office, a bank, and a veterinary clinic for kids to play imaginatively and learn through play. Admission is $12.50 for children 1-8, and the museum is open Monday through Friday for free play. Events such as birthday parties are able to be held on Saturdays in the space.

Fun For the Whole Family

If Mom and Dad are wanting to get in on the fun, try Palava or Dave & Busters! These are spots where the whole family can have fun and spend time together, all while staying cool indoors. Both places offer great food onsite. Dave & Busters is definitely geared toward the older kids with its games and bowling alley, while Palava has laser tag, mini golf, and a 4-story play structure for the younger kids!

The Woodlands is not lacking in indoor entertainment to keep you and your family cool this summer. We’d love to hear from you what your summer favorites are. Comment below to let us know!
